Early check-in and late check-out is offered depending upon availability.

There is no charge for cancellations made prior to 48-hours before check in.

For any guest who does not check in by 6 am the day after their reservation, there is a charge of one night at the confirmed rate when originally booked, plus applicable taxes.

Reservations with pre-paid rates will be subject to the rate offer rules communicated at the time of reservation.

Standard queen: 2 adults + 2 children (up to 12 yo)

King Deluxe: 2 adults +1 child (up to 12 yo)

Muir accepts requests for specific floors or rooms. Please reach out to the Muir team prior to your arrival and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Muir offers a safe, large enough for a laptop, in each room. Muir is not responsible for any stolen or lost items. 

Please note that a clear limit on the total value of items that can be stored within the room safe will be posted in each room.

The entire building is non-smoking, as is the entire Queen’s Marque district. This applies to tobacco, cannabis and vaping.

Muir’s advance deposit policy is one night’s room fee and tax is due 48 hours prior to arrival.

Payment methods must be advised/confirmed to the hotel at the time of reservation in order for the reservation to be held.

Full payment can be made through any of the following methods:

• Cheques (company cheques, traveller’s cheques and personal cheques)
• Credit cards (Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Carte Blanche, Diners Club, Discover, JCB)
• Debit (preauthorization for the room rate and incidental factor for the duration of stay is required)
• Marriott and Muir gift certificates and pre-approved travel vouchers

Valid contact information or Bonvoy membership information is required at check-in. To stay in the hotel, all guests must register in person upon arrival at the front desk or via their Bonvoy check-in app. Guests must show a valid ID and no check-in is complete unless the ID of the individual whose name is on the room is present.
